Craft Fair details coming soon...

I was so exhausted this past weekend after the craft fair (and the crazy but brief heat wave we had over here), that I haven't had a chance to write the detailed post with all the things I learned from this first craft fair. I promise it will be coming soon, and you will love it. Instead, here's a pretty picture of me at my craft fair booth that my friend Irene from LivedStories took last week Saturday. I'll be back next week with the information, so stay tuned. :) And enjoy the rest of your week!

Almost there....

The craft fair is two days away... and I'm still knitting. I set Wednesday night as my knitting deadline, but I completely ignored it and have just kept on knitting. "Just one more item", I keep saying to myself. Hmm...I need help.

A lot of the items I ordered to go with my items, such as hang tags, stickers and business cards have all arrived, and they look lovely. I purchased a design package from Jennifer Fankhauser of studio71design, and I am so thankful to her for all her hard work, and for putting up with my numerous re-design requests. I think I was a pain in the behind for her a few weeks ago, right before I placed the orders for the marketing materials. Check out her etsy shop and her design portfolio to see the amazing work she does.

I used for the business cards because their cards are just amazing quality, and the ability to put pictures at the back of each card is an awesome marketing perk.

Another quiet week in blog land..

At least on my end. I'm still prepping feverishly for the craft fair next weekend and so I don't have much to share with you all. I'm so sorry about that. Hopefully I'll have more to give you after the fair is over. I'm sure I'll have a lot of interesting tales and anecdotes from the craft fair. I'm so excited. Wish me luck!

If you live in or are planning to visit the Bay Area around April 21st, please come check out this craft fair.  Have a wonderful week!

PS: Here's a gratuitous picture of a little neck scarf I made a while ago, just because a blog post doesn't seem complete without a picture of an FO. The pattern is from the Classic Elite Yarns Soft Linen booklet "Make it Modern" which was printed in 2008. It's called "Soft Linen Little Leaf Scarf" by Pam Allen.

I'm a busy spring bee!

A few weeks ago I received an invite from the Craft Fair Organizer at the Milpitas Christian School to participate in a craft fair on April 21st. I was so excited and nervous that I held off from sending in my application until two weeks after I had received the email. Here is a link to the fair announcement in case you are in the Bay Area and want to check it out:

Now that the fair is almost here, I find myself quite nervous about all the preparations I have to do for it, and all the non-knitting details I have to take care of to make my stall a success. (BTW I'm currently exploring inexpensive display ideas for my scarves, hats, mitts and shawls, so if you have any suggestions, please feel free to share them in the comment section. Also ideas for where to print a banner would also be gladly welcomed.)
In addition to prepping for the craft fair, I also have some designs that I'm working on, on …
